Terms of Service

1. The service

CVPLEX is an online résumé maker that also offers AI-powered tools (e.g. writing help, proofreading, interview practice, cover letters).

2. Accounts & security

Provide accurate details when registering and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful, deceptive or harmful purposes, to misuse others' data, or to automatically overload or abuse the system (e.g. the AI endpoints).

4. AI content — important

AI-generated text can be wrong, inaccurate or outdated. Always review and verify it before using it. AI content is not professional, legal or career advice, and you are responsible for the content you use.

5. Payments, subscriptions and cancellation

Some features (e.g. removing the watermark) require a one-time fee clearly shown at checkout. If we offer a subscription, its price and period are shown before payment; the subscription may renew at the end of the period until you cancel.

You can cancel a subscription anytime in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and stops further renewals.

Once digital content is delivered (downloaded/activated), the fee is generally non-refundable, except where law requires otherwise. We inform you at checkout about the EU right of withdrawal and its limits for digital content.

6. Intellectual property

The content you enter remains yours. The service's software, brand and designs belong to the provider; you may not copy or exploit them without permission.

7. Availability

The service is provided 'as is'; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and it may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or issues.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for damages arising from your use of AI content.

9. Termination

You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary and applicable EU law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. For consumer disputes you may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution body.
